What will your role be?
We are looking for an Electronic Hardware Engineer to perform the following activities:
- Design, develop, and validate complex electronic hardware, including printed circuit boards (PCBs), FPGA-based boards, and high-speed electronic systems
- Define hardware architectures and oversee the complete hardware development lifecycle, from concept through production
- Develop FPGA solutions using VHDL and industry-standard development tools
- Design and integrate embedded systems based on microcontrollers and programmable logic devices
- Develop and optimize high-frequency (RF) electronic circuits and associated hardware
- Perform schematic capture, hardware debugging, laboratory testing, verification, and validation activities
- Ensure compliance with applicable aerospace, defense, and safety standards throughout the development process
- Lead technical reviews, design reviews, and hardware verification activities
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, systems, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams to ensure successful product integration
What are we looking for in you? Experience and competencies
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in the design and development of electronic hardware, including:
- Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)
- FPGA-based boards
- Complex digital electronic systems
- Strong experience with FPGA development tools, including:
- Xilinx Vivado
- Xilinx development environment
- Libero SoC
- Solid experience in VHDL design and FPGA implementation
- Strong knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded hardware platforms
- Experience with embedded software development
- Knowledge of high-frequency (RF) devices and electronic design techniques
- Experience working within regulated aerospace, defense, or safety-critical industries: MIL-STD, ECS, DO-254, DO-178, DO-160
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally as required
