Position Overview: The Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing machinery along the production line, including blow molders, filling machines, labelers, conveyors, and shrink packaging equipment. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of high-pressure compressors, particularly Bellis & Morcom or Atelier François systems, which are critical for the blow molding process. This role requires a technician who can ensure maximum machine uptime and maintain the high standards of operational efficiency.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, including blow molders, filling machines, labelers, conveyors, and shrink packaging machines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues across the entire production line.
  • Carry out regular inspections and preventive maintenance on high-pressure compressors (e.g., Bellis & Morcom, Atelier François) to ensure optimal performance for the blow molding process.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures, minimizing production downtime.
  • Perform machine changeovers, calibrations, and adjustments to meet various production requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to address equipment-related issues and ensure smooth production flow.
  • Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance, repairs, and performance.
  • Assist with operator and junior technician training on equipment operation and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
