Job Summary

 

The following challenges await you: 

 

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade facility systems, production equipment, and building infrastructure to ensure reliable operations.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls-related issues on production and facility equipment.
  • Install and maintain electrical systems, motors, drives, wiring, equipment, and related components in accordance with safety standards.
  • Conduct facility inspections, identify hazards, and support compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety requirements. Coordinate and oversee the work of outside contractors and service providers as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, energy-efficiency projects, and capital improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and repair documentation while contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
  • Available on call to address building emergencies.

 

Your Profile

 

We are looking for people who are not just open to new ideas, but want to bring fresh thinking, energy and a creative perspective to their work. Some of the traits and qualifications the ideal candidate would possess include: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade school education preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting experience along with knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, controls, or general construction systems.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, relays, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, actuators, and related equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, schematics, and CAD drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, organizational, and multitasking abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, contractors, and vendors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and maintenance documentation systems.
