Role purpose

The Electricity On-Sell Executive is responsible for optimising the performance of existing electricity on-selling (EOS) sites, supporting the expansion of new EOS projects, and delivering the organisation's Electricity On-Selling strategy to maximise asset performance and customer outcomes.
Working collaboratively with Centre Administration Managers, Property Analysts, Embedded Network Managers, retailers, metering providers, and other internal and external stakeholders, the role ensures the effective implementation of EOS projects and the efficient operation of day-to-day electricity on-selling activities.
Key responsibilities include supporting budgeting and forecasting processes through the preparation of templates and data entry, coordinating project rollout activities, delivering training to internal stakeholders on EOS processes, and facilitating the timely resolution of retailer and operational issues. The role also assists with customer account administration, metering coordination, and stakeholder engagement to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery.
The Electricity On-Sell Executive is committed to maintaining high operational standards by ensuring compliance with internal policies, supporting continuous process improvement, and contributing to the achievement of commercial, operational, and customer service objectives across the electricity on-selling portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder & Communication Management

Customer Administration

  • Maintain copies of existing tenant lease SEOAs filed by asset, ensuring easy access and accurate records for future reference.
  • Working closely with Embedded Network Manager (ENM)
  • Manage all external stakeholder energy and EN queries and communications via the Zendesk ticketing platform to ensure timely and accurate responses.
  • Investigate billing discrepancies.
  • Resolve customer complaints professionally.
  • Explain electricity charges and tariffs.
  • Support customers through connection and disconnection processes via Zendesk and ENM.

Metering Administration

  • Coordinate meter installations, exchanges, removals, and testing.
  • Maintain meter registers/meter data app and auditing
  • Liaise with Metering Coordinators and Metering Providers.
  • Investigate missing or inaccurate meter reads and comms faults

General Administration

  • Reviewing and maintaining Embedded network metering scopes/policies/Loop page
  • Data entry
  • Maintain zendesk ticketing system
  • Accounts payable processing monthly
  • Managing purchase orders
  • Non tenant energy billings
  • Monthly asset tenant billing reconciliations
  • Coordinate service requests and issue resolution.
  • Identify and implement process efficiencies

Operational Support

  • Coordinate all EN operational-related tasks, processes, and projects, including collaboration with ENMs, centre teams, tenants, electrical contractors, and energy retailers, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee project fundamentals and day-to-day processes, addressing any issues that arise to maintain efficient and effective operations.
  • Support project expansion rollouts by planning and executing tasks, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with project goals.
  • Provide internal staff training on EOS procedures and best practices to ensure a knowledgeable and capable team.
  • Maintain meter app data mapping
  • Assist with ENM portal and tenant registration requirements
  • Ensure data integrity across systems.

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Experience in electricity retail, utilities, or embedded networks.
  • Knowledge of electricity billing processes.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, in particular advanced excel skills
  • Data entry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable

  • Experience with embedded network operations.
  • Knowledge of the National Electricity Market (NEM).
  • Experience working with metering data.
  • Knowledge of property management system – JDE/Oracle

Qualifications

Essential

  • Certificate IV or higher in Business Administration, Utilities, Energy, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Desirable

  • Industry training in embedded networks or electricity market operations.

Work Environment

This role is primarily office-based with occasional site visits to shopping centres. The position may require participation in projects involving centre developments, or regulatory initiatives
