Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Bates & Bradshaw are currently working alongside 2 Sisters Food Group who are one of Europes leading food manufacturers and offer a wide range of products from Soups, Frozen through to Poultry.

We are now looking to expand our workforce at our site in West Bromwich which solely produces poultry across 2 shifts 7 days a week. We are looking for experience Engineers with experience in FMCG Manufacturing who want to develop their careers in growing organisation.

Job Description

As an electrically biased maintenance engineer, you will be joining a team of engineers and will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of production equipment, whilst also ensuring continuous availability across the business. You will report directly into the Engineering team leader and will be on call to rectify and eliminate equipment faults and machine down time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all mechanical and electrical equipment in a manner making it fit and safe for use
• Maintain the fabric of the building within the maintenance departments capabilities
• Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, repairing and installing when necessary.
• Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner
• Carry out routine maintenance.
• Keep equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting repair service.
• Contributes to team effort with a good mechanical background in a manufacturing environment

Qualifications Required

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Engineering
• 17th Edition Wiring Regulations

Shift Patterns

• 6am - 2pm
• 2.30pm - 10.30pm
