Electrical Inspector

Are you an experienced Electrical Inspector looking for flexible, project-based work with a global leader in quality assurance? Intertek is seeking a freelance electrical professional to support inspection and testing services in NRW on an ad hoc basis.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections of electrical installations, equipment, and systems in accordance with national and international standards
• Conduct audits and prepare inspection reports based on findings
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality requirements
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to coordinate inspection schedules

Your Profile:

• Certified electrician, electrical engineer, or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical inspection
• Knowledge of applicable German and international electrical standards (e.g. VDE, IEC)
• Familiar with inspection reporting and documentation standards
• Fluent in German; basic English skills preferred
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within NRW
• Registered as a freelancer in Germany (or willing to register)
