Electrical Estimator

D2B Groups is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects, ensuring that all estimates reflect accurate costs associated with materials, labor, and time. Your expertise will play a vital role in supporting project bids and proposals, contributing to our continued success in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive project estimates.
• Analyze project scope and requirements to determine labor, material, and time requirements.
• Research and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for submission and analyze any deviations in plans or specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals.
• Maintain a database of cost estimates and historical data to enhance future estimating processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and equipment.
• Proficiency in estimation software (such as Accubid, Bluebeam, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
