JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Plant Facilities department.
Duties & Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support operation, maintenance and engineering of facility electrical and distribution systems.
- Identify, plan and organize necessary operations and maintenance activities for sustainable supply of electricity without interruption to production and building services.
- Take initiative to identify electrical engineering improvement areas and opportunities, provide solutions and align with relevant stake owners and management to formulate actions plan or program to achieve expected department results.
- Lead, manage and providing daily coordination, direction and decision alignment for electrical technicians and contractors.
- Lead preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities for electrical equipment.
- Actively taking part in necessary periodic meetings for troubleshooting, engineering process and robustness improvement and 8D reports.
- Establish master tracking table for regulatory inspection and test requirement, and manage execution for compliance to meet authority and audit expectations.
- Manage and lead electrical team to support electrical projects including overhaul, expansions and new facility installations.
- Manage facility electrical contracts, collaborate with GPO to prepare revision of tender scopes of work (SOW), support tender and contract renewal processes to ensure seamless services continuity.
- Manage and conduct training for technicians and contractors, ensure team members certification per regulatory requirement.
- Engage and motivate technicians. Provide guidance, work steps and priority to support work activities and projects executed safely and deliver results on time.
- Perform daily concise operation meeting with team, to understand daily issue and provide guidance, perform tool-box meeting.
- Setup and monitor electrical performance KPI, identify opportunities and drive energy efficiency improvements.
- Ensuring all maintenance tasks are managed and reported within the CMMS work order system and calibration records.
- Create, maintain and modify maintenance procedures.
- Update and review Control Plan and OCAP.
- Ensuring the Contractors service meet KPI, Cleanroom Protocol and Housekeeping expectations.
- Ensuring that critical spares/materials inventories are available (on or off site)
- Organize documentation of PFDs and P&IDs for existing and new projects.
Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate shall:
- Engineering Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering department.
- 5 years of Electrical Engineering, Operation and Maintenance experience in Factory, Semiconductor experience will be added advantage.
- Good interpretation of engineering drawing and P&ID.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as power point, excel, word, etc.
- English business proficiency.
- Good leadership, communication and presentation skills.
