Electrical Engineer

Awtad is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and supervising electrical systems for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You will ensure that all electrical works comply with project specifications, applicable codes, safety standards, and client requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience managing electrical engineering activities throughout all project phases, from design to commissioning.

Requirements

Design and review electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-current systems.

Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Supervise electrical installation works and ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.

Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.

Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, electrical codes, and safety standards.

Support testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.

Monitor project progress, prepare technical reports, and assist in project planning.

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
