Electrical Draftsperson

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Draftsperson to join our team at Energy Drive Projects in Mahogany Ridge, Pinetown. As an Electrical Draftsperson, you'll play a key role in creating detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams for our projects. Reporting to the Engineering & Projects Manager. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and layout diagrams for electrical panels based on specifications and requirements.
• Investigate and create Single Line Diagrams used to model fault level, load usage and coordination.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and refine electrical designs.
• Ensure all drawings and plans are accurate, complete, and adhere to industry standards and regulations
• Utilize EPLAN/AutoCAD software to create detailed electrical drawing packs
• Review and revise drawings as necessary to incorporate feedback, changes, and updates throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical drafting.
• Proficiency in EPlan/AutoCAD software.
• Strong understanding of electrical design principles and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
