Under general supervision and with detailed instructions for new tasks or special assignments, the Electronics Assembler is responsible for assembling, soldering, and wiring electronic components, cable assemblies and subassemblies according to work instructions, schematics, and quality standards. This role involves working with circuit boards, cables, connectors, and mechanical hardware to build reliable electronic products used in company systems. The Electronics Assembler must follow safety and ESD (electrostatic discharge) procedures, maintain a clean work area, and support continuous improvement of production processes.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble electronic components, circuit boards, cables, and subassemblies using hand tools, soldering equipment, and fixtures.
- Perform setups and adjustments while holding tolerances to specifications.
- Read and follow assembly drawings, schematics, bills of material (BOM), and written work instructions.
- Carry out tasks related to the assembly of electronic equipment, including cables, harnesses, chassis, and printed circuit boards, or mechanical assembly of panels, LRUs (Line Replaceable Units), batteries, and servo motors.
- Perform rework and repair on electronic assemblies following approved procedures.
- Safely operate soldering irons, crimp tools, torque drivers, microscopes, and other assembly tools.
- Support continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements and participating in problem-solving activities.
- Assist in training lower-level assemblers as needed.
- Perform housekeeping and cleanup duties upon completion of assigned tasks.
- Carry out other duties as assigned or required.
