Performance of inpatient electroencephalograms (EEG), electronic processing of EEGs in Epic. Ability to secure electrodes, monitor patient’s status, identify and correct issues during the recording process.Education:
Completion of EEG Technician Program - Required or
Equivalent Training or Experience considered in lieu of Education Requirements
Certifications/Licensures:
BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
R.EEG T. Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist - ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation or
EEGT Electroencephalographic – American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists or Equivalent Preferred within 2 years of hire
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skill - Required.
Ability to accurately perform and process Electroencephalograms - Required
CLTM - certified long term monitoring - Preferred
Work Shift:
10.0 - 08:00 - 18:30 No Waive (United States of America)Pay Range:
$46.23 - $62.43HourlyNote: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
