  • Responsible for performing and/or assist the neurologists will all procedures performed in the EEG department.
  • Maintain the utmost level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines.
  • Perform all exams in the EEG department.
  • Document exams done in the department.
  • Assist the Chief EEG Technician as necessary.
  • Maintain an accurate filing system.
  • Handle in-patient and out-patient reports and direct them to the appropriate destination.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies.
  • Maintain equipment in good working order.
  • Participate in department and hospital-wide Process Improvement Activities.​

Education, Experience: (required)

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or two (2) years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must hold R. EEG T certification

License, Certification: (required)

  • Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T) Certification - Required

  • Certified Long-Term Monitoring Technologist (CLTM) - Preferred
