Easebuzz- QA Lead/Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead with strong hands-on experience in Python-based automation to lead quality initiatives across our products. The role requires both technical expertise and team leadership, ensuring end-to-end quality delivery in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA team, including task allocation, mentoring, and performance tracking.
• Define QA strategy, testing standards, and best practices across projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Python, Pytest, and Playwright.
• Perform and oversee API testing using Postman for manual testing.
• Implement automation for APIs using Python Request library.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage including functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
• Review requirements, user stories, and technical designs for testability.
• Track, report, and drive closure of defects with engineering teams.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure adherence to quality, security, and compliance standards relevant to fintech products.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with at least 2+ years in a QA Lead / Team Lead role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python automation using Pytest and Playwright.
• Experience in API testing using Postman for manual testing.
• Hands-on experience with Python Request library for API automation.
• Solid understanding of manual testing concepts and test design techniques.
• Experience in handling and mentoring QA teams (mandatory).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.

Good to Have

• Experience in fintech, payments, BFSI, or transactional systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Exposure to performance or security testing.
• Experience with databases and SQL.
