Nursery: Bright Horizons Golders Green Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary: Starting from £29,432 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Hours: Full time 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location: Golders Green, London

We’re looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Bright Horizons Golders Green situated in Golders Green North London. The 53-place setting, is based in a lovely, converted house, and benefits from plenty of resources for the children to use and enjoy and includes cosy reading corners, imagination stations and also has a spacious garden area, featuring a sandpit and playhouse.

As a SEN Support Early Years assistant, you'll be working closely with three children with SEN needs in our Pre-school room, offering support with varying needs across different points throughout the day.

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.  

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
