As a Junior Project Manager at dsm-firmenich, you’ll be right at the heart of where ideas turn into action! You'll work alongside experienced teams to help plan, organize, and manage digital projects that make a real impact—streamlining business processes, boosting product performance, and driving big strategic goals forward.

Your key responsibilities

 

  1. Project management concepts and tool understanding

•    Develop a strong understanding of how to maintain oversight of all project activities, identify any issues and ensure these are resolved promptly. Keep track of and reporting on project progress using project management & Agile tools.


2. Stakeholder Management


•    Engage with stakeholders through regular check-ins, manage expectations, and communicate progress or risks early.


3. Agile Product Development


•    Contribute to agile product development by actively participating in Scrum ceremonies and maintaining the product backlog.


4. Consulting Mindset


•    Support solution feasibility assessments by aligning requests with platform capabilities and challenging assumptions where needed.


5. Product and Process Knowledge


•    Develop a strong understanding of products, platforms, and processes to support basic solution feasibility and user inquiries

You bring

 

•    Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field, with 0–2 years of experience in a similar or supporting role in a digital/IT environment.
•    Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks, with curiosity and eagerness to learn modern ways of working (Agile, DevOps, Product Thinking).
•    Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent is a plus. 
•    Basic understanding of business processes and digital tools, with emerging skills in analytical thinking and structured problem-solving.
•    Communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams, with willingness to receive and act on feedback.
