Early Morning Cleaner

Beakhouse is seeking reliable, hardworking Cleaning Crew Members to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in our fast-paced restaurant. The successful candidate will take pride in cleanliness, work efficiently under pressure, and support the team by ensuring all dining, kitchen, and back-of-house areas meet the highest hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dining areas, kitchen, restrooms, and food preparation areas.
• Sweep, mop, maintain floors throughout the restaurant.
• Empty rubbish and recycling bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Clean windows, doors, counters, tables, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks as scheduled.
• Respond promptly to spills and cleaning requests during service periods.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is used safely and correctly.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain a clean and efficient workplace.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous commercial or restaurant cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 kg, bending, and performing repetitive tasks.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
