The E-Commerce Shipping Clerk will be responsible for the fulfillment of orders by properly packing, and shipping merchandise or material. The shipping clerk is expected to maintain an excellent customer service rating to ensure approval and continued relationships with all seller sites. Daily tasks may change, so flexibility and adaptability to the changing needs of the department is key. 

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

• Inventory, rotate and pull items that are posted online using smart phone technology
• Examine orders and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or record keeping purposes
• Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepared materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter
• Confer or correspond with other team members or customers to rectify problems, such as damages or nonconformance to specifications

External Hiring Range:  $14.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday with a flexible Start (7:00am – 3:30pm or 7:30am – 4:00pm)! Schedule can vary depending on department needs.

Travel required: No

• No Education AND 1 or more years' of experience using the internet to find information required. OR
• High school diploma or equivalent AND no experience required.
  • Experience with online merchandising, selling on auction sites preferred.

REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• Candidates are expected to provide current valid Child Abuse Clearance.
