E-Commerce Accounting Specialist

​​GrowthAssistant is seeking a skilled and motivated  E-Commerce Accounting Specialist to manage order entry, sales mapping, and BOM creation in Shopify while handling cost accounting, financial reporting, and accounts payable processes. This role requires strong collaboration across departments to resolve financial and operational issues, ensuring accurate vendor setup, invoice coding, and seamless financial transactions in QuickBooks or similar software.

Salary: Up to Php 80,000 depending on experience

Core Tasks:

• Shopify (order entry, channel set up, etc) 
• Map sales and build BOM (bill of materials)
• Generate financial reporting 
• Cost accounting
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable data
• Work closely with all departments to ensure any issues or queries are resolved in a timely manner
• Set up vendors in Quickbooks or similar software
• Code invoices with appropriate GL code

Must-Have:

• 2+ years experience with Quickbooks or similar accounting tool is a must-have
• 1+ years experience in Shopify
• Advanced Excel experience (v-lookup, pivot tables, and basic formulas)
• Basic experience with G Suite is a must-have

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Slack and Gmail for internal comms
• Experience in the retail industry
