Job Purpose and Impact

The Electromechanical Technician III will perform maintenance, troubleshoot complex program issues as well as design, implement and modify program logic for computer-controlled systems with occasional guidance and assists others. In this role, you will utilize maintenance and reliability practices to ensure all assets are maintained in safe condition while continuing to ensure the life of the equipment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Design and implement logic controller programming and modify existing logic programming, as requested.
  • Frequently assist in the design and installation of new or upgraded equipment and machinery (ex. conduit, wiring, power distribution, machine controls, machine automation, motors, counters, lighting and heat tracing).
  • Complete complex troubleshooting of machinery and automation failures including motor control devices, input sensing devices and other output devices.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the reliability of plant assets while troubleshooting machinery and automation failures as necessary.
  • Independently inspect and complete maintenance on packaging equipment, processing equipment, storage systems, plant utilities and other mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Other duties as assigned
