What we need:

 

Mohawk is looking for a Dye Line Operator in the Dalton, Ga area. In this role, you will be operating dye lines.

 

What you’ll do:   Identify Tank Runs Identify & verify filters are clean and clean as needed Monitor PLCs, computer screens & all set points Adjust Dye Line speeds as needed Monitor J boxes have enough product to run continuously Watch carpet for defects that might cause problems printing. Keeping an eye on Dyeing schedule for change over, etc. Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision Follow all established standard operating procedures Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary Perform other tasks assigned by management   What you have: Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High school graduate or GED equivalency preferred. Prior experience working in a Dyeing department required, and/or equivalent combination of on the job training and work experience. Reads and writes in standard English and proficient performing basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction. Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training. May be required to use PC and other department specific database systems.   What you’re good at: Must pay attention to details. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.   What else?   Frequently required to reach, handle, stand, walk, sit and stoop. Occasionally required to kneel. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds frequently throughout an 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shift. Must be able to work 8, 10 and or 12-hour shifts either day or night, weekdays or weekends as scheduled.
