Job Description

This is a 9-month, tenure-track, remote Assistant/Associate Professor position in the Doctor of Social Work (DSW) Program. Responsibilities include graduate course instruction, curriculum and course development, serving as course lead for assigned courses, academic advising and mentoring of students, student recruitment, assessment and accreditation activities, and service commensurate with the mission of the University. Faculty are expected to be actively engaged in university life and events and demonstrate a strong commitment to student success. The successful candidate will primarily teach doctoral social work courses, with opportunities to teach across the curriculum based on program needs and faculty expertise. Assistance with coordinating and conducting in-person and/or virtual orientations and residencies will be a part of the duties of this position. Faculty are expected to maintain an active program of scholarship and professional engagement and participate in service to the University, the profession, and the community consistent with expectations for tenure and promotion.

This position reports to the Dean and the DSW Program Director in the Carver School of Social Work.
