The Marketing Communications Intern will work closely with members of the Communications Team of the Firm’s Business Development & Marketing Department in support of various firm and department initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Draft and distribute press releases and media pitches
  • Update attorney biographies and liaise with attorneys on edits
  • Assist with media list research
  • Post alerts, events and newsletters to web site and/or firm intranet
  • Assist with social media post creation and research
  • Assist with other writing tasks, including event invitations and other materials, as necessary
  • Special projects, as assigned, for the Business Development & Marketing Department and Firm, including but not limited to: survey responses, production of PowerPoints for attorneys, etc. 

QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):

  • Some related marketing/communications experience/second or final Co-op preferred
  • Candidates must have strong writing capabilities

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
