Draftsman

We are seeking an experienced Draftsman to join our team, responsible for creating detailed drawings and documents for KNX lighting control systems, low current systems (CCTV, Access Control, Sound Systems, BMS, Public Address, Fire Alarm), and other electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating shop drawings, riser diagrams, single-line diagrams, and as-built drawings, as well as preparing technical proposals, BOQs, and other project-related documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed drawings for KNX lighting control systems and low current systems, including:

1. Shop drawings.
2. Riser diagrams.
3. Single-line diagrams.
4. As-built drawings.

• Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, and other project-related documents.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings and documents.
• Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) to create and modify drawings.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of drawings and documents.
• Provide support to the project team during project execution and commissioning.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in creating drawings and documents for electrical/low current systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of KNX lighting control systems and low current systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines.

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with KNX programming and configuration.
• Knowledge of local and international electrical codes and standards.
• Certification in CAD software or electrical drafting.
