Drafter

Title:

Are you looking to kickstart your career in engineering design and drafting? We are seeking a Drafter to join our growing Water, Environmental and Industrial team. This is an exciting entry level opportunity where you will gain hands on experience across Water, Defence and other infrastructure projects while learning from experienced engineers and designers.

• Produce basic drawings using CAD software, AutoCAD preferred

• Set up drawing files in accordance with company standards and procedures

• Extract and apply information from engineering specifications, standards, and supplier documentation

• Maintain electronic filing and document control for your work

• Support engineers and senior designers with technical drafting tasks

• Collaborate within multidisciplinary project teams to understand engineering workflows

• Ensure work is completed in line with quality, safety, and environmental standards

About You

To be successful in this role you will

• Hold Certificate IV or Diploma in Building Design, Engineering Design & Drafting, or similar (or currently studying)

• Some experience with at least one CAD software package (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D)

• Strong interest in engineering and the practical application of technology

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and develop new skills

• Must be eligible to obtain a baseline security clearance - Hold an Australian Citizenship
