This is Direct Hire with our Client

The Communications Summer Temp provides valuable support to the Divisional Communications Department through a variety of public relations, internal communications, and event planning projects. Specific responsibilities include:

• Drafting and distributing press releases and media alerts on company news and community events

  • Drafting articles on divisional events and employees for internal website

• Drafting social media posts for client channels

• Supporting events like Town Hall Meetings, charitable promotions, etc

• Support content creation including text and images for corporate website.

• Work with in-house design studio to select and edit images for digital media channels

• Coordinate local media monitoring- capture and record coverage

• Potential for administrative duties as assigned

Prior office experience

• Strong written and verbal communications skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Multi-task oriented with strong organizational skills

• Ability to balance multiple responsibilities

• Communications, Journalism, or English majors preferred

• Professional demeanor

• Comfort working across business areas and interacting with new contacts
