Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Accountable for one or more global procurement categories and its suppliers (total > 250M$ annual spend) , acting as main interface to major suppliers.
• Develops and implements category/supplier strategies, collaborating closely with key internal stakeholders (e.g. Divisions, OP) as well as other Procurement job sub-families.
• Defines, monitors and acts on related KPIs (e.g. savings, payment terms, etc.).
• Sources competitively in global markets, for best suppliers and solutions that fulfill Infineon‘s product & cost requirements, leading major, global negotiations & contracting.
• Applies best in class procurement methods, e.g. cost modelling, benchmarking, advanced negotiation methods, design for sourcing, monetized TCO, to enable comprehensive value analysis, negotiation events and decision making.
• Utilizes market intelligence to build resilient supply chains (incl. managing supply crises & recovery) and optimize the TCO.

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

Knowledge and skills are generally acquired through:

• 15+ years relevant working experience, thereof 5+ years relevant management experience

Experience:

• 8+ years experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain covering significant spend (> 100M EUR) or scope (number of suppliers, >volumes, nr of products)
• Multi year experience working with OSATs
• Experience in Assembly, Test and BE manufacturing processes
• Experience with contract management and contract process ownership
• Experience in improvement processes
• Experience in Benchmarking, best practice sharing, business cases and product cost analysis
• Experience with quality management, pCN and change processes
