Job description

  • Manage powertrain development department, meet development targets and project milestones
  • Supplier management: sourcing, steering, monitoring, bug fixing, escalation
  • Synchronize powertrain development with project milestones
  • Manage powertrain function & SW development, calibration/application
  • Manage powertrain HW and integration (e machine, battery, inverter, DCDC, charger)
  • Manage powertrain safety concept and safety functions
  • Manage powertrain subsystem and system validation
  • Manage charging development and strategy
  • Manage handshake to powertrain and vehicle manufacturing
  • Lean & self responsible reporting to VP, escalation whenever necessary
  • Risk management (all relevant impacts) including fall back solutions
  • Manage own division belongings in order to achieve all targets (budget, recruiting, organization, international synchronization, cost targets, timeline, deliverables)
  • Reporting /communication / press information to VP and other executives
  • Support diagnosis concept, EMC measures, SW & HW release management, vehicle planning, homologation process

3. Education / Experience: Masters or PhD in Engineering or related field, / 10+ years of experience

4. System knowledge and integration, find alternative solutions, self-organization
