"GEICO's Physical Damage team is looking for an exceptional leader to oversee the daily operations of our Physical Damage adjusting team. As a Physical Damage Director, you will own the day-to-day activities of your assigned territory/area of responsibility and manage claims severity, rental car management, and relationship management with all internal and external customers including but not limited to GEICO policy holders, claimants, GEICO partners, and body shops through the territory.
The Physical Damage Director will provide guidance and counsel on employee performance and will support all matter of the employee life cycle from recruitment to performance evaluation and termination reviews. The ability to lead and provide direction will be crucial as this position will oversee approximately 6-8 direct reports (management level) and up to 100 indirect reports.
This position will include some travel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Risk Management, Insurance, or related fields
- Prior leadership experience (5+ years)
- I-CAR certification preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required

Annual Salary
$113,775.00 - $202,950.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
