Candidates for the post of director of university farms should possess a degree in agriculture or related field plus at least fifteen years cognate experience.

Candidates must be a member of relevant professional body and on CONTISS 14 in a university, research institute or similar institution. Possession of a post graduate degree in marketing or management will be an added advantage.

Candidates for the post of director of university farm must exhibit considerable degree of competence, responsiveness and integrity for the administration of the university farms. Prospective candidates must be proficient in ICT, have a good knowledge of the latest farming techniques, marketing of farms products and general management.
