DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

* Develop and evangelize product strategies focused on Symantec Veritas Information Governance products and build a roadmap to meet

the business unit’s short term and long term objectives.

* Present strategies and analysis to executive team.

* Lead team of direct reports and cross functional team of engineering, operations, marketing and other stakeholders from business units

to develop, implement and drive product line success.

* Lead efforts on competitive analysis that details our competitor’s marketing, sales and product strategies.

* Own product requirements and roadmaps for new products/services as well as enhancement/change requirements for existing products/

services to meet changing market and competitive needs.

* Provide product support to sales, support, customers and other stakeholders.

* Support Sales via product training and joint customer presentations, helping the sales team to position the product suite.

* Evaluate, establish and manage 3rd-party partnerships with complementary vendor solutions.

* Evangelize solution value proposition and offerings at customer visits, sales training, seminars, and trade shows.

* Develop data driven models and analytically approaches to determine business performance, growth and emerging opportunities.

Qualifications

* Proven ability at launching new products from concept to launch.

* Undergraduate degree, preferably with an MBA or other significant business experience.

* Prior experience in software product management in a high tech company (10+ years).

* Prior experience in product management for SaaS/cloud software solutions (2+ years).

* Prior experience in agile scrum development as a product manager and/or product owner.

* Highly analytical decision making approach.

* Excellent presentation and customer facing skills.

* Demonstrated success at indirect management in matrix organizations.

* Self-starter; motivated; energetic.
