What You'll Do
- Content Strategy & Execution
- Build and lead a high-performing content engine, our editorial newsroom, leveraging Samba’s cross-screen media intelligence.
- Drive a focused content strategy aligned with launches, GTM priorities, and audience needs.
- Produce high-impact, multi-format content (reports, visuals, articles, social, case studies, videos, enablement).
- Translate complex data and AI/ML concepts into clear, snackable narratives.
- Create repeatable storytelling frameworks around cross-screen insights, measurement, AI audiences, and ad effectiveness.
- Own the content calendar end-to-end for timely, high-quality output.
- Collaborate with data science, product, and engineering for accuracy and clarity.
- Thought Leadership & Brand Storytelling
- Position Samba as the leader in AI-driven advertising, cross-screen measurement, and the future of streaming.
- Partner with PR/Comms on executive thought leadership, media narratives, and analyst/conference content.
- Identify content opportunities from trends, competition, customer insights, and internal innovation.
- Ensure narrative consistency across touchpoints and develop strong customer stories that demonstrate ROI.
- Social & Distribution
- Manage and optimize distribution across LinkedIn, X, and other channels.
- Lead social strategy to amplify thought leadership and product news.
- Monitor engagement and performance to refine content decisions
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing to support GEO, SEO, SEM, and paid promotion.
Who You Are
- 7–10+ years in content marketing; bonus if in ad tech, martech, data platforms, or SaaS.
- Comfortable and excited about creating content topics around AI/ML, data science, predictive analytics, and AI-driven marketing.
- Hands-on use of AI tools (e.g., GPT, Claude, autonomous agents, orchestration frameworks).
- Can work independently driving projects end-to-end, while also managing a team of high - performers.
- Exceptional writer/storyteller able to simplify technical concepts for varied audiences.
- Full-stack creator for visual form content, long-form reports, and social posts
- Curious, collaborative, and effective across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Exec teams.
- Learns quickly and thrives in fast-changing environments.
- Bias for action—ships, learns, iterates.
- Writes in a clear, human, on-brand voice.
- Comfortable speaking at conferences.
- BA in Marketing, Communications, Journalism; advanced degree a plus.
