Director Of Case Management

Position Summary: This position supports the mission of the medical center of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. The Director of Case Management is responsible and accountable for planning, directing, leading, and budgeting for high quality, cost effective services provided by the department to its customers. This requires an understanding of and support of the organization’s mission, vision, values, priorities, and financial goals.

1+ to 2 years experience

IDEAL CANDIDATE Either Social Work or R.N. license required. Certified Case Manager
Bachelors degree or Masters preferred in either field.


A minimum of five years clinical experience in acute care setting preferred.

Special Qualifications: Must have knowledge of JCAHO & CMS standards as well as federal, state, and local laws pertaining to the functions of the department. Must have the ability to assess information, apply critical thinking, determine best course of action, and convey necessary information to the interdisciplinary team. Requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to prioritize workload and adjust staffing up or down, depending on census and patient need.
