We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Client Executive, Relationship Manager to join our Global Client Management team. This role is located in Tokyo, Japan – HYBRID.
Global Client Management (GCM) manage and enable the growth of the largest, most dynamic, fastest growing, and most strategic global client relationships. The team identifies major sales and partnership opportunities and drives growth and service delivery around “top of mind” strategic client management. Key to GCM’s success is delivering all BNY’s resources and capabilities across businesses and geographies, with a focus on growth and enhanced connectivity to the client C-suite and key influencers.
The GCM client’s are key in driving the bank's growth and corresponding revenue goals and objectives. The client accounts are significantly diverse and complex, requiring a high-level primary point of contact coordinating all relationship management activities across the enterprise.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Managing and driving growth for BNY’s most important local client relationships
- Working closely locally as well as connecting regionally and globally
- Independently developing the enterprise-wide strategic plan for managing and growing existing client relationships, with a focus on revenue retention.
- Identify opportunities to evolve client business for incremental account growth.
- Serve in a consultative role to the client, advising the client’s top leadership (C-Suite) on the best way to achieve short- and long- term strategic objectives.
- Oversight of individual business line and Bank-wide initiatives.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- 12+ plus years of work experience
- Experience in financial services and / or custody preferably in business development, relationship management or account management
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required;
- Fluent in English and able to conduct business in the Japanese language
