Direct Support Professional - Full Time Hours Rotating Location

Our employees build relationships with the people we support ensuring they live full lives through assisting in day to day tasks, joining clubs, going out to eat, hiking, enjoying movies, going on vacations and more. This opportunity will work across multiple locations on a rotating basis to support our Adult Residential and Intermediate Care Facility programs.

What you will be doing:     

• Ensure independence for the people you support by assisting in day to day tasks.
• Assist with Personal Care and Hygiene tasks which may include showering, bathing, contenance care. g-tube assistance, or similar tasks.
• Support community integration and development of social skills through recreational activities.
• Monitor medication and accompany the people you support to medical appointments.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and third-party agencies.
• Participate in team meetings and training as well as agency-wide training opportunities.
• Working and available during the following shifts: 2-10 p.m. PST weekdays; 8-4 p.m. PST weekends

Requirements

• Friendly, helpful attitude, willing to go the extra mile.
• Openness to learn new tasks including assisting with personal care and hygiene
• CA Driver's License plus 2 years driving experience (Required)
• Registered Vehicle with valid insurance (Required)
• Ability to pass LiveScan fingerprint clearance.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to work either Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday
• Hours: 2-10 p.m. PST weekdays; 8-4 p.m. PST weekends
