Digital Video Publisher, Spanish - Swing Shift

If you’re an eagle-eyed videophile who will not settle for anything less than perfect, then we may have an opportunity for you! We’re looking for someone with strong writing and editorial skills, knowledge of digital video platforms and Spanish language content, and the ability to work closely with a team to publish the Web’s highest quality video content onto Acme and its distribution partner sites.

As a Digital Video Publisher, you will champion quality by maintaining an atypically high - and consistent - quality bar for online video and its metadata in line with Acme’s mission to deliver premium video content.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the receipt of scheduled video content from Content Partners
• Work independently and contact Content Partners
• Screen and provide Quality Assurance of videos
• Proofread, edit, research, and enhance video metadata
• Ensure timely publishing of videos assets under strict schedules and deadlines
• Maintain style conventions and accuracy of metadata on the site
• Communicate internally on content status with other Video Publishers and Content Partner Managers
• Report and track encountered Quality Assurance, Publishing and Content issues from Spanish language content partners
• Maintain strong knowledge of breadth of content on the site
• Proactively learn updated tools and programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Native level fluency, both written and spoken, in Spanish and English
• A minimum of 1-2 years digital video experience
• Ability to work without supervision, escalating when needed
• Detailed knowledge of digital video workflows, mainstream video editing tools, and web technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of management
• Obsessive attention to detail
• Willingness to work flexible hours in order to meet occasional deadlines
• Ability to prioritize, track and resolve issues concurrently
• Possess a working knowledge of mainstream video editing tools
• Ability to constantly learn new and improved tools and programs.

Hours: (5pm – 1am)
