Job description

Purpose

Create compelling digital product experiences that excite and empower users, delivering both business benefit and meaningful impact for Accenture Song clients.

Orientation

Lead end-to-end product design at the project level — from research and discovery through concept, UX, UI, and handoff; collaborate across disciplines; elevate the work around you and grow the designers you work alongside.

Expectations

Be adventurous. Bring a vision. Make an impact. Rely on empathy. Nurture collaboration. Stay transparent. Be bold and generous in all you do.

Years of Experience

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience, including 3–5 years of digital product design experience.

  • Participation in all aspects of design: planning, research, concept creation, UX and UI design.

  • Strong experience in design system creation, maintenance, and management.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Design or a related field.

Requirements

Personal

  • Bring a proactive, entrepreneurial attitude and a growth mindset — think around problems, navigate ambiguity, and challenge clients to think differently.

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of AI and its ability to help inform more impactful design decisions.

  • Have a great appreciation for brand, typography, colour, and layout.

  • World-class execution with an eye for detail and the passion to constantly improve.

Craft

  • Own the end-to-end design of the experience — from identifying user needs and generating concepts to defining and creating beautiful, coherent interactions.

  • Deliver user interfaces that are elegant extensions of the brand; build experiences that hook users in and nudge them along naturally and intuitively.

  • Create detailed visual and interaction design definitions based on relevant business, technical, and design considerations.

  • Drive and contribute to design systems across your workstream.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of accessibility guidelines and design to industry-recognised standards.

Project

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end design of the experience, collaborating with design leads, researchers, and engineers.

  • Collaborate with other designers, developers, and researchers on mixed-methods work to bring integrated value to clients.

  • Support new business development by providing expert design input in pitches and client meetings.

Client

  • Work in collaboration with client teams to understand the user, business, and brand.

  • Present thinking and explain, discuss, and justify design decisions through appropriate methods.

  • Create quality client deliverables that demonstrate rigour, craft, and clear design rationale.

Skillset

  • Strong product design portfolio demonstrating end-to-end process across mobile and web.

  • High proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC; strong visual and interaction craft.

  • Solid grounding in user research methods and usability testing.

  • Experience working in Agile product teams.

  • Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

  • Clear communicator who can articulate design rationale to diverse audiences.

Portfolio Requirement

Applications without a design portfolio demonstrating craft quality, process, and relevant experience will not be considered.

What's in it for You

In addition to a competitive salary package, you will benefit from an extensive rewards offering including 25 days' annual leave, private medical insurance, and 3 additional days' leave per year for charitable work of your choice.

Flexibility and mobility are required to deliver this role. There will be a requirement to spend meaningful time on-site with clients, partners, and teams to enable delivery of the first-class experiences we are known for.

Some clients require background checks. You will need to complete a Baseline Personal Security Standard (BPSS) to confirm your identity, criminal record, right to work and residency.

Comfortable with hybrid working. Every project is different, but we love our team to be in the studio and in our client's office to work collaboratively.
