What You’ll Do as a Diesel Mechanic/Container Repair Welder

In this role, you’ll perform essential fleet maintenance and diesel truck repair to keep our drivers safe and our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities include:

  • Performing inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel vehicles

  • Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems

  • Using onboard vehicle diagnostic systems to interpret failure codes and adjust engine/vehicle control modules

  • Responding to road calls and conducting emergency repairs

  • Reviewing and completing repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)

  • Documenting work using fleet maintenance software

  • Test-driving vehicles after repairs

  • Supporting teammates with complex repairs

  • Interacting professionally with drivers

  • Maintaining a clean and safe shop environment compliant with OSHA standards

  • Performing additional maintenance duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this diesel mechanic role, you should bring:

  • Hands-on experience with diesel truck diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs

  • Hydraulic system experience (preferred but not required)

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.

  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly.
