Diesel Mechanic

Skilled Trades Partners is hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician for a well-established heavy civil contractor in Lakeville, MA. This is a direct hire opportunity with a company that maintains a large fleet of equipment supporting excavation, utility, commercial, and site development projects throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drivetrains
• Service excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, skid steers, rollers, and other heavy equipment
• Complete repair documentation and maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of heavy equipment or diesel mechanic experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills with diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Valid driver's license required
• Welding/fabrication and CDL are a plus
