DHA Specialist GP - Endocrinology focus

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Practitioner (GP) with proven experience and interest in endocrinology, particularly in the management of diabetes and metabolic disorders. The successful candidate will join our dynamic clinical team to provide holistic, patient-focused care within a tech-forward environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality primary care with a strong focus on diabetes and endocrine-related conditions.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with chronic conditions such as Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders, PCOS, and other metabolic/endocrine issues.
• Work closely with endocrinologists, health coaches, nutritionists, diabetes educators, and other specialists in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Utilize GluCare’s digital platforms and remote monitoring tools to support continuous care and patient engagement.
• Participate in developing and implementing personalized care plans based on patient data, behavior, and health trends.
• Monitor treatment outcomes, adjust medications, and provide preventive and lifestyle-oriented advice.
• Support patients in their diabetes education and self-management journey.
• Ensure thorough documentation in the electronic medical records system and comply with GluCare’s clinical protocols and standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, case discussions, and training sessions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on clinical guidelines and innovations in endocrinology and chronic care.

Understand, follow and support all hospital infection control programs 

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• DHA License or Eligibility Letter as General Practitioner (GP)
• Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in the UAE.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in endocrinology or diabetes management is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in a multidisciplinary or tech-enabled healthcare environment is a plus.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
