The role
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead to design and oversee our DevOps strategy, lead a team of engineers, and ensure best practices in automation, cloud architecture, and security. This role requires strong technical expertise combined with leadership and communication skills.
What you'll be doing
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for scalability and security.
- Lead and mentor DevOps team members.
- Architect cloud infrastructure and ensure cost optimization.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation strategies.
- Manage incident response and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across development, QA, and business teams.
What you'll bring to the team
Required Technical Skills
- DevOps Tools & Practices: Advanced Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible.
- Cloud Architecture: AWS or Azure.
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Automation & Scripting: Python, Bash.
- Security Awareness: Vulnerability scanning, secrets management.
- Monitoring & Reliability: SRE principles, Prometheus, Grafana.
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Team leadership and mentoring.
- Effective communication (verbal and written).
- Stakeholder management and decision-making.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution.
