DevOps Engineer

Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) is looking for a DevOps Engineer to assist with the expansion of operations in India.

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure. This role will drive the adoption of DevSecOps best practices, ensuring strong security and compliance across environments while improving system reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (laC), CI/CD automation (Jenkins), Terraform, and cloud cost optimization (FinOps), and will play a key role in building resilient, highly available systems. This individual will partner closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to streamline deployments, enhance observability, and proactively address performance and reliability challenges.

This is a full-time position and reports directly to the VP, IT Infrastructure and Operations.

Preferred Location

Qualified candidates should be based in or near Kochi and able to work from our Kochi office as part of a hybrid schedule.

Essential Functions

• Implement and manage Cloud DevSecOps best practices to ensure security and compliance
• Drive FinOps initiatives to optimize cloud costs and resource utilization
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, or similar tools
• Automate deployments, monitoring, and system maintenance for high availability
• Build and maintain observability tools for performance tracking and incident response
• Collaborate with security, development, and operations teams to enhance system security and reliability

Education Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR equivalent education and work experience.

Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• 6-8 years of experience in cloud DevOps, IaC, and administration
• Hands-on working knowledge and experience is required in: 

• Shell scripting 
• OS concepts 

• Expertise using AWS CLI to manage key AWS services, including (but not limited to) S3, EC2, MSK, and ECS
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation using Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, and related DevOps tooling
• Familiarity with Git and Bitbucket Pipelines for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
