DevOps Engineer

Skills & Requirements

• Very good communication and presentation skills - should be able to articulate problem statements/solutions & DevOps experience

• Strong in scripting languages, such as Bash / Perl, etc. (python is desirable)

• Deep understanding of version control systems (like Perforce, svn, Git, etc.), including branching and merging strategies

• Experience with build tools, such as Ant, Maven, Gerrit, etc.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GO, etc.

• Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc.)

• Experience with creation of virtual appliances.

• Experience installing and administering Linux/UNIX environments (RedHat/CentOS Linux preferred)

• Familiar with Agile development methodology, and Scrum Iteration process

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in network administration (configuring routers, switches, VLANs, etc.)

• Familiar with clustering and High-Availability concepts
