Contribute to the development and release of web applications and data pipelines
Support IT functions hosting services on GCP, continuous integration, test automation.
Help our team support build and own the implementation and IaC supporting CI/CD
Use modern infrastructure tools and platforms to automate our systems
Create scripts, templates and orchestration for automatic provisioning and monitoring of Cloud resources
Work closely with architects, developers, data science and data engineers to gather system requirements
Monitor consumption of cloud resources, request fulfillment turnaround, application performance, and systems security posture
Deploy and execute processes and standards for optimal use of cloud service provider offerings.
Job Qualifications:
5+ years professional work experience
Proficient with Cloud based implementations including Azure & GCP and Dev Ops life cycle such as System Administration, Build and Release Management, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Configuration Management, and Containerization
Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform & IaC scripting
Continuous integration (Semaphore, Jenkins), Test Automation
Experience with Windows Server and MS SQL Server 2019
Strong programming and scripting fundamentals (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Visual script)
Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) to define groups, create users, and assign roles
Proficient with the principles and best practices of software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements analysis, design specifications, coding, and testing of applications with industry standard methodologies such as Scrum and Agile
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical capabilities
A desire to write tools and applications to automate work rather than do everything by hand.
Passionate about Continuous Build, Integration, Test, and Delivery systems
Experience in implementation of few of the following: Networking, DevOps, Security, Compute, Storage, Containers, Kubernetes
Self-starter with in-depth hands-on work experience with large-scale implementations of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure.
Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple initiatives and rapidly changing priorities
Required Skills:
Agile Methodology, Cloud Based Services, Cloud Platform, Cloud Solutions, Continuous Delivery, DevOps, Identity Access Management (IAM), Public Clouds, Python (Programming Language), Red Hat Ansible, Terraform, Application Performance
Familiarity with the following is a strong plus:
Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Github. TFS, Azure DevOps
DB: Postgres, MS SQL, SQLMI
