Job description

Type of contract: Employment contract 

Salary range:  15800 - 24300 PLN gross

 

What will you do?

 

Join a mission-critical payments environment responsible for maintaining the reliability, stability, and continuous improvement of a complex technology landscape. You will work across payment services, integration platforms, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native infrastructure, supporting both operational excellence and the delivery of new capabilities. This role combines DevOps engineering, service management, automation, incident resolution, and technology controls within a fast-paced international environment.

 

Your tasks

 

  • Own the reliability, stability, and continuous improvement of payment services and supporting platforms
  • Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
  • Support the delivery of new services, integrations, and platform enhancements
  • Manage incidents end-to-end, including impact assessment, stakeholder communication, service restoration, and root cause analysis
  • Coordinate change management, testing, and release activities
  • Maintain and improve monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and operational documentation
  • Support vulnerability management and security patching activities
  • Provide technical guidance to support teams and service stakeholders
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement operational best practices, observability standards, and service health controls
  • Participate in service management and operational governance activities

 

Your skills

 

  • Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Application Support, or Platform Engineering roles
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments
  • Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of APIs and microservices architectures
  • Experience with incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis
  • Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability practices
  • Experience with change and release management processes
  • Knowledge of Linux or Unix-based environments
  • Understanding of security patching and vulnerability management practices
  • Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in complex production environments

 

Nice to have

 

  • Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
  • Experience with IBM MQ
  • Knowledge of Oracle databases
  • Experience with SEPA payments or payment processing platforms
  • Experience with SFTP integrations
  • Knowledge of Service Management frameworks such as ITIL
  • Experience supporting financial services or banking environments
  • Understanding of SLOs, health checks, metrics, and distributed tracing
