С++ Developer (Internship)

We are excited to offer an internship opportunity for a С++ Developer (Intern) to join our Amsterdam-based team.
As part of our Software Development group, you will work closely with experienced software engineers, gaining hands-on experience in solving the challenges related to multi-threaded and distributed computing, working closely with hardware, and trying to squeeze maximum throughput from our computational cluster, while our infrastructure is written in modern C++. This internship may also offer an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects at the intersection of low-latency trading and system optimization.

The internship duration can range from 3 to 6 months, depending on the team and the intern’s availability. Upon successful completion, you may be offered a full-time position at Pinely.

Requirements

• Strong C++ programming skills;
• Experience with multithreading and distributed computing;
• Experience with low-latency and high-performance code optimization;
• Understanding of data structures and their impact on system performance;
• Ability to analyze and optimize code for instruction-level latency;
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  
  
  Would be a plus:

• Understanding of database systems and their optimization;
• Knowledge of FPGA development or hardware-level optimizations;
• Familiarity with assembly language and low-level system interactions;
• Proficiency in reverse engineering techniques;
• Experience with financial trading systems or algorithmic trading.
