Desktop GIS Specialist ( geographical information system (GIS) )

 Job Requirement- Desktop GIS Specialist ( geographical information system (GIS) )

Location- Albany, NY

Duration- 24+ Months 

Candidates should have at least 12 months experience, and at least one of the following should apply:

1. Experience using a professional desktop GIS for geoprocessing, mapping and visualization, and workflow management.

2. Experience managing and maintaining spatial or non-spatial data using desktop GIS or other desktop data management tools.

3. Experience performing quality assurance on enterprise spatial or non-spatial data.

4. Experience conducting data related research using a combination of on-line and published materials.

5. Experience utilizing the route building tools in ArcMap to construct routes for use in a linear reference system in GIS.
