QualDerm Partners is excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated FULL-TIME Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team in Winston-Salem, NC. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and detailed medical histories.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring that necessary instruments and tools are prepared and available.
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests and manage specimen collection for thorough analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to healthcare privacy regulations.
  • Schedule patient appointments and ensure efficient office communication.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medication use, and skincare practices.
  • Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with appropriate medical supplies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly related to dermatology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with patients.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and standard office software is a plus.
