Salary Range: $135,000 – $145,000 

Position Type: Full-Time, Remote (Travel to Onsite as Required) 

Location: Remote – Washington Metropolitan Area

Position Overview 

Viderity is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Project Manager to support large-scale, technical, and IT-driven projects. This role will work closely with project leadership and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery, adherence to scope, schedule, and budget, and alignment with organizational objectives. This is a remote position based in the Washington Metropolitan Area, with occasional travel required to client or project sites. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide daily operational support to the Project Manager and project teams.
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Assist in risk management, issue tracking, and escalation as needed.
  • Prepare project reports, dashboards, and other documentation for project status and decision-making.
  • Facilitate project meetings, document meeting minutes, and track action items.
  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Support communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to project staff.
  • Maintain project documentation and compliance with client and internal policies.

Required Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, program coordination, or similar roles.
  • Proven experience supporting or managing large-scale technical or IT-driven projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid environments).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools (such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance (if required).
  • Ability to travel to client or project sites when required.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • PMP, CSM, or other Project Management certifications.
  • Experience working in a government contracting environment.
  • Experience supporting digital services, software development, or IT modernization programs.
