Arizona is a pivotal battleground state in 2026, from protecting our last line of defense in Governor Katie Hobbs, Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, and Attorney General Kris Mayes to flipping the state Legislature and key red-to-blue congressional seats. Joining the CSV team means being a part of the premier offensive line for Arizona Democrats up and down the ballot.
Description
The Deputy Data Director will work closely with the Data Director to manage the team’s workflow and support the Organizing and Voter Protection Departments to develop and improve programing to elect Democrats up and down the ballot. We are looking for someone with organizational and management skills, who is an effective communicator in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Start Date: April 2026
Salary: $7,500/month
Benefits: Eligible for UnitedHealthcare medical, dental, and vision plans at no premium
Hours: This position’s schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle and will require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.
Travel: In-state travel

Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve the campaign’s data infrastructure and manage reports for campaign leadership and campaign staff, as well as partners, and stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with the Organizing and Voter Protection departments to ensure a robust approach is taken to planning and problem solving
- Monitor database needs and maintenance, including creating the organizational systems that enable Organizing to find their targets
- Work with your team to produce informative reports for staff from various departments to better understand the campaign’s programs and how they could be improved upon
Skills & Qualifications:
- At least two cycles of campaign experience, one of which is in a Data role preferred
- Strong organizational skills, communication skills, attention to detail, responsiveness, and passion for the work
- Proficiency with VAN and experience with VAN as an administrator managing user profiles, scripts, creating targets, utilizing and interpreting scores
- Proficiency with in Google Data Studio, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms
- Proficiency with SQL preferred
